Grinding steel and welds

Welds, burrs after cutting, edges and holes — from a single piece. Przełęk near Nysa.

Scope

What we grind most often

From a frame in the shop to a railing off site — private customers and companies.

Welds

Slag, the ridge, spatter. Flush, or ready for the next pass.

Burrs after cutting

Pipe, profile, plate off the saw. No burr that cuts a sleeve or spoils the fit.

Edges and chamfers

A chamfer for welding, knocking off sharpness. Angle grinder on the floor, or on the vertical when the part fits the table.

Holes

Burr from the inside, a chamfer for a bolt. Mushroom stone or on the drill — not only the edge from outside.

Before painting

The ridge and spatter, so paint does not lift on the weld. Whole-surface rust and old paint is blasting — a separate service.

Stainless

Welds and scratches on a handrail, frame or part. A shop finish — not satin, not a mirror.

Cutting leaves a burr; welding leaves slag and a ridge. Grinding takes off what the painter, the welder and the fitter do not want: a sharp edge, spatter, a weld flushed or ready for the next pass.

Not one machine. Angle grinder — weld, burr, edge, a frame that will not go on the table. Vertical — an edge and a face when the part fits. A hole: mushroom stone or the drill. We grind our own fabrications and customer-owned parts: frames, handrails, brackets, plate. Carbon and stainless — a shop finish, not furniture polish. We do not take rust and old paint off the whole surface with a disc: that is blasting.

Plant in Przełęk near Nysa. Bring the part or say whether it is going under a weld, under paint, or just needs the sharpness off — we do it in the hall.
